How we rate sellers
Every seller is scored out of 100 on six criteria. The rules below were fixed before we scored anyone, and they are applied the same way to every seller.
What the rating measures, and what it doesn't
We rate how open a seller is and how it serves its customers: lab reports, reviews, business details, delivery and price. We do not rate whether retatrutide is safe, legal or effective, and we do not test products ourselves. Retatrutide is not registered by SAHPRA.

Lab reports (30)
0 if no reports are published or they are "coming soon". 8 if testing is only claimed or offered on request. 15 if a report exists but not for retatrutide, or without a named lab. 22 for a retatrutide report from a named independent lab. Plus 4 if reports are batch-specific, and 4 for extra tests such as heavy metals, endotoxins or sterility.
Customer reviews (20)
Up to 12 points for the star rating on HelloPeter, Trustpilot and Google, scaled by the number of reviews (full weight from 100 reviews). Up to 8 points for the share of one- and two-star reviews that got a reply from the business. We only count profiles we can match to the seller's own website.
Business details (15)
Street address 3 (suburb or city only: 1), email on the brand's own domain 1.5, phone or WhatsApp number 1.5, company named with a registration number 4 (named without a number: 2), and the age of the shop's domain: 5 for two years or more, 3 for one to two years, 2 for six to twelve months, 0 under six months.
Delivery and service (15)
Ships from South Africa with a named courier 5 (courier not named: 3), delivery times stated 3, delivery cost stated 3 (free-delivery threshold only: 2), published returns policy 4.
Review integrity (10)
Starts at 10. We take off 5 points for each confirmed sign of fake reviews on the seller's site, such as testimonials with placeholder email addresses.
Price per mg (10)
The lowest price per milligram among vials in stock with a stated strength, against the median of all sellers we priced: 10 at or below 75% of the median, 7 at or below the median, 4 up to 125%, 1 above that, 0 if there is no usable price.
Ties and missing information
Anything we can't confirm scores zero for that item. Where totals are equal, the seller with more points for lab reports ranks higher, then reviews, then business details, then alphabetical order.
Where the data comes from
Seller websites and their structured product data, public domain registration records, and review platforms such as HelloPeter. All data on the current ratings was checked on 30 September 2026. See the current ratings and our editorial policy.
